Linda is a teacher at Little Flower Academy, a high school in Vancouver B.C.

She gets to do all sorts of neat things with her students .. ski-ing with the school ski club or overseas trips (Rome in 2000!), not to mention the daily enjoyment she derives from being with great kids.

Ian is a geologist with a mining exploration company.

He gets to see do quite a bit of travelling, frequently to some 'off-the-beaten-track' type places. He too gets to meet interesting folk, including a number of 'unconventional' folk, which keeps his work from ever becoming dull or monotonous.
